From the little I have seen j&b, I would tend to agree; solid state batteries are expensive.
BUT…we all know the effects of mass-production on the price of items.
I would suggest that, if a winning battery was chosen to be used by a major EV manufacturer, they would get the price down by the sheer volume of manufacturing.
