Previously we were told Sirmac-Clapier would be the subject of exploration focus this year and now it's deemed a non-core asset. If there's CFTF cash to be spent this year surely a few holes at S-C would have to offer the best option on a risk/reward basis. Hit something worthwhile there and then it can either be pursued via a small CR or else just increase the value of the asset as a farm-out or full sale.
The announcement contains some good sentiments but I agree with some other views that it doesn't give the impression that a white knight is about to redeem our fortunes before August.
