Good to finally see some expenditure controls, albeit months late. I find it very hard to believe that this would be happening if a strategic partner was close to coming on board.
It reads to me that Renard is looking highly unlikely, and today’s announcement seems like preparing shareholders for the bad news. I can’t see directors opting to take a 25% pay cut if they were genuinely on the cusp of a company-making strategic deal….
