Why has it taken so long to outline the tasks of the Audit and its objectives? I suspect that the Board has been keeping an eye on where the proxies are taking the EGM votes and know that without some communication, they could be in trouble.
The update is better than silence and does help to increase confidence in the Board at a time when they were losing support.
I can only perceive a long and expensive timeframe to resolve the matters identified in the update.

One can only laugh at the promotion of Mr Mahusay and his law enforcement qualifications. The implication is that the mine is full of criminal types that need dealing with. Villanueva seems to retaining support of the locals in all this but no indication of where all the revenue from gold sales is going (assuming that this is happening).

We may as well sit back and watch the performance since we cannot do anything during the indefinite suspension.
