Because the conversation will also be taken up by explanation of the new accounting practice. Any downgrades/revisions etc can be discussed in that context, gives them a legitimate way to redirect the conversation. Useful to have that when you’re going to need to do a lot of explaining to investors and media. Can politic it a bit if needed. If you catch my drift.
