re: Ann: Company Insight - MD on Production U... Whilst I fully understand long-term holders dissatisfaction with CVN, I was surprised and cautiously impressed with the interview.

Firstly, the fact that CVN have absolutely no control over their two key assets fills me with considerably more confidence than I had would otherwise have. Their track record is not exemplary and I have seen no indication to suggest that Towngas isnt a step in the right direction. At least they are new, fresh, bigger, better qualified and have more skin in the game with the enormous price they paid. The less interested in communicating with CVN management the better as far as I'm concerned, just show us the black stuff.

Because at the end of the day, the key bit for me was Towngas' forecast of $36mill pa gross revenue (not CVN's - no one cares about their forecasts anymore). Thats impressive for a company with an EV of $35mill and other projects on the go. Did anyone note how they tried to pass the buck for missing the forecast? One has to smile.

I agree with the earlier post, there are surprises coming, and lets face it, they can pretty much only be to the upside. The numbers are impressive. CVN will run again. This stock is all about timing. As Marcus Padley said recently, HMAS Buy and Hold set sail years ago. CVN is liquid enough to accumulate large positions on weakness and make significant returns into changes in sentiment.
