RED is required to move an average of 1.22 million BCM on average per quarter to achieve AMC's mine plan over 2013 (putting head grade and gold recovery aside). If RED achieves 70% of AMC's target during Q1 due to the new contractors ramp up and sub-optimal water management, then 1.34 million BCM of material will be required to be moved each quarter over 2013.
To put this in perspective a total of 1.5 million BCM have been moved over the last 9 months. One aspect I am interested in is whether the site infrastructure and logistics management is sufficient to account for the increased traffic.
