Yes, it was me that posted that information previously.

From memory (can't open the full article again), it was someone who wished to remain anonymous, relating to the press, what had gone on behind closed doors where they were present.

Total are interested in the Pines, to what extent I can't say. Seems to be plenty of articles on the net re the French (among other countries, notably Japan) LNG requirements for the future.

This seems to support Total taking the majority share (75%) of SC56 back in August. Exxon had three gas finds there, two of them fairly big (according to Mitra), but then Exxon (and BHPP) walked out, handing it all back to Mitra.
