I think you’ll find with the choice of ore sorting technology there’s a couple of positives on the enviro front:
1. Far smaller footprint;
2. It’s not a traditional heap leaching operation.
This was a few peoples gripes about the SS and the reduced IRR as a result of a higher capex to utilise ore sorting as opposed to heap leaching. Yes they obviously still need some leaching in the process, but it’s not as environmentally unfriendly as a heap leaching pad operation.
