Hey that's my line.

He's got a mix of affability for marketing and hopefully business acumen. Certainly being older will mean he has run across a number of the traps for early-stage companies. Either jumped them or fallen into them and lost some skin. either way he'll be more seasoned.

All of that applies to old dog's or old fish that haven't been caught for that matter. It's called survivor bias. Definitely works in stocks too. those that are beyond redemption (FUBAR) are simply delisted or change their names.
