I have managed a small Aussie store & can tell you criminals do what they think they can get away with. Crazy, but true.

Bigger business gets extorted in different ways & not as obvious as people do not like to be exposed doing something wrong. Modern technology is making it difficult for basic old school crime & extortion, & now have banks watching over their loans & insurance policies are required to operate or even have a loan. If there is high levels of crime, it shall be reflected in higher insurance costs & other expenses. Thanks for heads up!

Anyway, a rival gold miner ideally has to make a take over offer &/or is not in direct competition for business profits.
