With the EU getting caught with its pants down over its embarrassing reliance on Russia for its energy needs (amongst other things), one would think that green projects like this would be getting extra priority just from the geopolitical perspective. Making your emerging green economy dependent upon external suppliers like China and Russia is quickly being being seen as the Achilles heel for the EU. I'm still hopefully Spain and the EU decides to go the path of self-reliance.
