As the article posted said the Mexican standoff is called "price discovery" in polite circles; hopefully they will come to a compromise. Lumileds may asl not see any urgency in settling the issue since BLG still need to prove that they can retrofit the Aixtron MOCVD equipment before they can proceed:

If this does not come off then BLG may need to walk the rocky road with AMEC in China - I hope it comes off with Aixtron - much safer!! .
