    Tesla isn't making the batteries yet. When they build their Giga factory they will be sourcing mined and not synthetic to reduce costs significantly. Currently their batteries use synthetic. Sadly they will be seeking local sources for the graphite. However this sill still significantly affect deman for graphite. Think about this, mined high grade graphite is significantly cheaper then synthetic, and only recently there has been a push to move to mined graphite due costs. If Panasonic and tesla are moving in that direction, where their batteries will be 30% cheaper then current prices, their competitors are going to have to do the same. This will significantly change the market for graphite. Only the high quality stuff.

    I don't think this is a short term play. As much as I would love to cash in right now having bought below .28 I think this is just the tip of the iceberg.
