Whilst there is a great sense of injustice in the small shareholders not being able to participate in a rights issue, I can understand why this may not be in their interests.

Historically retails shareholders tend to leave a shortfall (although in the case of ORE I don't think this would have happened) and the process leaves the market hanging around at the raising price. Alternatively, I have participated in raisings where I have optimistically put in my money only to have it massively oversubscribed and only receive one tenth of what I was hoping for, and have my capital out of the market for months. I suggest having some cash in this current volatile environment could be handy when opportunities come along.

Hopefully we will see today that the market will not stay, or even reach, the $2.10.
