I hadn't considered it before but mining sites would be jumping at the chance for remote tracking for all their machinery. I spent a year living and working in Africa and our company was not shy investing big coin for all the latest tech. We spent thousands and thousand of dollars just for sensors that would turn fans off in areas where no person is working.
Ute theft was a big thing along with trying to work out where operators left machinery at the end of the shift. Sometimes we'd lose hours of production trying to chase up gear. Management aways wanted to know the distances trucks travel and know why the operators aren't on the move.
As has been for a long time, great potential for SAS. Funding still an issue. SAS have been unresponsive to my messages.
