About length of time before a CR announced and actually shopping it beforehand.

Would like to be told from someone in the corporate finance world, but 2 weeks is most common I would say..... How do I know that? well it's from many years of experience and observing when a company's share price weakens compared to when a capital raising is announced. I guess sometimes it might be a month or more if the company is waiting for market conditions and or its own share price to improve.
