The other thing to mention about Waislitz is that he holds a diversified portfolio of up and coming tech stocks.
Given how well a tech stock does when it all works out, he would still do well if only 1 in 5 worked out and the other 4 went bankrupt.
This is a different position to most of us who invest in small tech. Even if we held 5 each with a 20% chance of working out, we could still well end up with nothing. In fact, under those condition, there is still a 32% chance of losing the lot
Therefore, our investment decisions need to be much more cautious and protective than Waislitz's, whose wealth allows different strategies which are not available to most of us. Point being, whether he buys or not means nothing to us, beyond OVN having the additional safety of access to funding.
