That’s when I bought my first small parcel, when Glencore sold their 6.4% holding in YAL. I’ve never experienced any issues with YAL being illiquid, but I can imagine prior to 2019 with retail only owning 10% of ownership it would of been painful.
I’ll be comparing Cinda International’s holdings from YAL’s HY23 Financial Report to their upcoming FY23 Financial Report. I’ll be interested to see if Cinda have continued selling down their position. Would also make sense they’ve been selling down if YAL wants ASX300 inclusion. Bring on Friday 23rd!!
