To my surprise, the Australian Rail Track Corporation is stating that by sometime over the coming weekend of 16-17 December 2023, the full Muswellbrook-Ulan line should be reopened to rail traffic.
This will mean YAL's Moolarben mine coal can again be railed to the port of Newcastle NSW.
