I was never against the lithium idea. However, I had some early reservations about the high price they paid for ESS last year and my concerns proved to be correct - look at the SP chart after the deal went through.
The market is dynamic and when the emerging story points to a different trajectory, one adapts. With the funding news, the pathway to cashflow is set. In about nine months time, this company should be mining and hence my sentiment for this stock has improved slightly.
Technically the stock is oversold, which could indicate an impending reversal. Should macro factors improve and if they release some positive funding news the next move could be upwards! Who cares about the SP when the fundamentals point to a 5 to 10 baaaggger? It's the opportunity of a lifetime!
