You need to bear in mind that when Cue got into bed with SPC years ago, it was not part of Petrochina. I suspect Petrochina now wants to move away from the smaller stuff and concentrate on the bigger prospects and Mahakam Hilir is obviously not one of them.
I would be very surprised if they do not to quite their Cue stake. Any sort of opportunity to do so will be seriously listened to I expect.
