The ship is sinking so let's get rid of the one person not responsible for the ship sinking and replace her with two people who will both draw salaries amounting to a sum greater than what she was on and have shareholders stand around and clap about how great this was.
Maybe a better option would have been to get rid of some of the dead beat Directors who have done nothing and replace them with people who know what they're doing.
