Sorry Jacktrader, you are trivialising the role Company Secretary, and under appreciating the high churn rate of this role at QHL is an outlier for a public company.
If the Board is happy to maintain the status quo in the retention of CEO and Directors (ie keeping themselves, despite the chronically poor Company performance), but a key appointment such as Company Secretary keeps resigning, what does it say about the Board’s credibility.
QHL isn’t the local cricket club, with the “dreaded Secretary role” hard to fill, and meetings held to decide important issues such as the next club BBQ. Or is it?
