Perhaps Kevin had too much on his plate acting as company secretary for 30+ companies? (Note that BHD and HML aren't in the list below). At least this will free up some of his time and allow him to focus on getting things done for the 29 other companies on the list below - assuming he hasn't also resigned from those companies, of course.
