Totally agreed, Cooper metals have a large untested tenement in Mt Isa,
Exploration on the tenement with no historical data is tough and very expensive as it requires drilling of many meters and many holes to understand the system. Cooper has already spent fair bit of money on this, as this is a large tenement JV will help Cooper to carry out a decent drill holes for a potential discovery.
Ian did a great job so far to identify the targets and management made a great decision to allow a third party to explore Mt Isa tenement- JV (Third parties are very interested to be a part of Mt Isa exploration).
In my opinion, Cooper is now aiming to have a JV for Mt Isa and getting POW for drilling Gooroo project next year. Additionally, Cooper is now in the process of acquiring advanced projects which might be transformative. This year was not good for shareholders, but it seems like the current initiative from the management helps their shareholders to increase their value going forward.
