    WAL originally had approx 59.3m shares before they started buying them back. WAL then bought back about 11.3m shares, and then issued another 7.4m to Byrt. These are rounded numbers, which brings the total to 55.5m (you'll see this figure on the ASX Circular - Reinstatement to Official Quotation announcement made yesterday). For the fully diluted calc, I've added in the options to get to 60c NTA/share.
