I agree that they are phrasing the announcement. Use of the word potentially is not binding in any way, shape or form. So you might potentially have a megabit chip and might potentially have a corporate transaction. Also I wonder how much their paying imec to undertake the work and who is HGST (Western Digital?). It's good that their fully funded for its strategy but this is dependent on successful test results from the second platform lot with transistors which wont be completed until the end of Q1 2021 (still a long while to wait) and what is the full strategy that their funded for? We only know a timeline to Q1 2021, after this its open air...This might look like a better investment towards the end of Q1 21 when the test results are known. Of course you would expect a bump in the SPP early next year as investors get their hopes up for a positive test result.
