I read this as great progress.It is an engineering problem and will take another year to solve, the inventing having been completed.
They have the resources and brains of Imec and HGST figuring it out.
Sure the impatient will disappear and maybe come back later, if you don't want to park there cash to avoid a capital gain.
Personally, very happy to wait, handing over a million plus in CGT for holding less than 12 months isn't my plan.
