That's a lot of mapping and soil sampling. Sounds a bit too systematic and clinical to me. Discovery while benefiting from such regimes requires some flair, risk taking and an ability to push the rules. The good old Williams area, I have been told has been drilled to buggery, gets as much drilling as our star Turrawonga porphyry discovery. Does GRL with their Top Tier Team past think Turrawonga is not good enough? No sign of any focus with moves towards a Lewis Ponds feasibility and the important Mt Aubrey Gold resource is collecting dust. Are we targeting resource extension at Yeoval or am I confused with the focus here? After regular perusal of the NSW Gov Minview I found that we were granted a new EL this year over the historic Goodrich Mine near Yeoval. Historically this is the largest and richest copper-gold mine in the area but have we forgotten about it? Any resource potential here? An old friend from Malachite Resources gave me a massive lump of chalcopyrite and magnetite from this very mine. Sounds like a contender.

The market did not warm to the recent round of Lewis Ponds results and I am afraid very costly diamond drilling there may will reveal the same, but on the upside some potential to kick start a resource estimate for the Quarry Lodes. Will this be the headline for the next CR?

Many of us punters are hoping for the SP to push through the 20c mark but are we more likely tacking towards 10c territory? My friends in NSW tell me most field programs and drilling will be washed out for the next month now so news flow could be patchy down that way and Gundagai is notorious for narrow intersections away from the famous Gilmore Suture. That Emu Mine is famous for coarse gold so I was a little disappointed with the observations of a bit of pyrite here and there.
