I do not read from this announcement any more than the company has said at its last announcement. Regardless of the financials from a shareholder position the situation is spelled out in the first section - whilst the company is pleased with the progress of the refinance negotiations they are indicative in nature only and cannot be considered to be certain. Well I suppose it has not gotten any worse you could say. The financials indicate that they are still buying PDPs, arrangements for future purchases are still in place and Covid 19 effects are playing out as everybody should expect. One comment I find interesting is that the company intends to keep the Covid 19 policy changes in place for the foreseeable future. That must surely mean lower rates of collection over a longer period or are they only referring to how they action their collections (ie incentives, increased range of options, more flexibility). Who knows as it does not elaborate much on that statement. Anyway not much point in shareholders getting too worked up about it until the all important refinancing is sorted. Good luck to those who have been patient with this one - you will deserve a decent outcome.
