Why are they in a suspension to evaluate potential acquisitions. Isn't evaluating them what you do in the early stages before deciding whether to acquire them? I thought this suspension was due to them being in the final stages of something not at the beginning of something.
    Bizarre to say the least.
If I had to guess and this is only my opinion, not fact, it looks like the original deal may have imploded and now they're scrambling to find something else. We know it's happened before with Medcann. They seem to pre-empt a transaction as a foregone conclusion, go into suspension to finalise the transaction, it fails, and they scramble to come up with a solution. In Medcann's case it was Biohealth and we know how that worked out.
Hopefully I'm wrong and it all works out but it's starting to smell.... just a little.
