With the Demo Plant constructed and LCK commencing final start-up operations on Friday, we should see first gas next week.
Start-up ops are now down to drilling out the plugs from the wells, drying out the holes, inserting the ignition tool and lighting it up. A bit of tweaking of input gases and optimising the burn. The technical risks from here are minimal; this is where they find out if their equipment is set-up correctly, instruments are all working etc. Small delays are possible if they find something isn't installed properly, pipe leaks, non-functioning equipment - normal commissioning stuff. Couple of days to fix.
Most likely the system will work out of the box - and gas will flow.
In the background lawyers on both sides will continue with tidying-up the legal matter and waiting for the details of the judgement.
Yes, it's possible the opponents will appeal; but, they can't just appeal on the basis of not being happy with the decision - they need to find something new and substantial that hasn't been considered yet.
Confidence for current and future shareholders in this investment should be high.
LCK have just appointed a new media liaison guy; expect to see LCK in the media more in the future; can only be a good thing.
Looking forward to the open today!
