So the early termination fee is due because the 10 year contract is breached by terminating it on the 1 June 2025 which is what the vote is about. The early termination fee is consequently due. The same company which receives the early termination is than employed for 18month to continue to run the show through the TSA. Actually if the 10 year DCA contract would be terminated at the end of the contract in 2026 no termination fee would be payable - additionally the new internal team has a longer period to learn the ropes - if it is necessary maybe the DCA team moves over to D2O anyway. Hence the early termination fee is a nice extra. Sad. Additionally the independent report does not even consider a scenario of fulfilling the contract and go independent afterwards. Only two scenarios were independently considered.
This whole scenarios stops me from investing even the drought is biting in SA and Victoria.
