Rio did not walk away from Simandou because of anything other than, they got stitched up by their partners and the Government in Guinea. Nothing to do with the future for iron ore in West Africa.
BHP and RIO are running out of high grade in The Pilbara, been telling you that for a couple of years and yet you keep denying it is true.
SDL's cost to get out of the ground and to port at 50Mt per year would be as good if not better than BHP and RIO at 50Mtpa.
It is only China waiting for these African countries to not pay back loans that is holding these projects from going ahead. Can see it a mile off that Chinese are keeping them on a long lead to try to get most big projects for nothing.
