Cameroon Government would be taking one hell of a chance if they took the Cameroon/Mbalam tenement from SDL. SDL if clever would have held back some of their knowledge about the Mbalam Project from The Cameroon Government and other stakeholders.
Chinese are not very good at Mining large projects. Infrastructure funding, building they are very good at.
Take SDL knowledge from the Cameroon project and put the projects into the hands of Cameroon Government and the Chinese and they would struggle big time.
If that happened I could see, SDL's Nabeba ,EQX Badondo, Avima, Boka Boka, Belinga and a few other small iron ore projects go through **on. The African Iron Ore Triangle as its been called.
The other iron ore projects in Cameroon are not of High Grade DSO.
Cameroon and the Chinese, need Nabeba to make it feasible and be World Class.
