Exactly what I said the other day...Only someone who is real emotional over the amount of money they have invested (over extended but own money and no debt!) would be acting like this.
It's a shame because Rob has raised some good points on issues and I am grateful he shared his reply from JZ.
It appears his main gripe right now is 'recent project delivery (missed targets)' which means he has never worked in oil & gas / mining projects. So I can't really blame him for not understanding that timelines (missed targets etc) in these sectors are ALWAYS MISSED and DLEAYS are par for the course. I know this having worked in oil & gas and mining since 2001. I have never worked on a project that has NOT been delayed for a multitude of different issues. In fact, I got an extra 2.5yrs work out of the Gorgon Project construction phase on Barrow Island due to for eg. various supply chain issues and even not having enough beds on the island to complete certain stages. Yes I know comparing Gorgon (over 65bil in the end) to Rincon Stage 2 (30mil?) is apples to oranges but no matter the size, location, logistics etc every damn project will face delays and missed targets unfortunately....
Now do I wish one piece of news had arrived by now? Hell yeah! Just like all of us. But do I understand that in Mining nothing goes to plan time wise?..Yes, it NEVER does.
If we are going to compare AGY with the peers that basically started around the same time, the ones I have always kept an eye on and even owned at times are: LKE, GLN (I currently hold again), LPI, ASN and PNN.
To put things into perspective AGY's timelines have slipped with delay to continuous production, still no EIA approval, no funding/ot announced and no resource increase yet. Most or all of these are finally shaping up to arrive in the next 6 months or thereafter. But comparing them to the 5 stocks above for example, none of them have even produced 1tn of BQ Li2CO3 over the last 6 yrs. More importantly, do they currently have the tech knowhow to do this? I would say NO because the market would know if they could. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Heck, LKE's new timeline to production was recently pushed out many yrs! Yes they are 'aiming' for 20000tn I think to begin with but there is no proof they can produce even 1tn yet!!

Sorry for the long post. Moral of the story is that a companies sets projected timelines because they have to and none of them rarely come in on time and budget. Yes it sux! But it is what it is unfortunately and if you can't mentally push out every timeline mentioned then investing in a company like this may not be for you.
Also, IMO don't ever invest too much money into one company to the point it will make you overly emotional when it is in a correction phase.
Even after all I have posted above my patience wanes at times as I am only human.
I still believe AGY is the most undervalued and true value will be seen once our SP catalysts finally arrive.
    Ok back to work lol....
