If the legal case does relate to the quality of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and issues surrounding that, I notice in half yearly the following points;
Open-pit truck and shovel mining operation with a very low strip ratio of 0.50:1.00 (t/t waste to ore) for an 18-year life of mine.
Extremely simple production.
No tailings dam or use of water resources in the production process. Very environmentally friendly.
No tailings dam or water use and a simple production process would have to be very favourable from an environmental point of view.
I would really like to know on what grounds the injunction is being sought.
Also from the financials the company is also holding nearly $70m in tax losses.
