Nemex Resources Limited (ASX: NXR) (Nemex or Company) provides the following update with respect to the Company and its investment in Wavefront Biometric Technologies Pty Ltd (Wavefront).
Nemex has issued 3.6 million shares at an issue price of 2 cents per share to raise $72,000 to Mr Robert Liu, who has been a top 20 shareholder of the Company since September 2014. The monies will provide funding for NXR’s ongoing working capital requirements.
Nemex has joined with several additional Wavefront shareholders (totalling greater than 50.1%), seeking to change and restructure the Wavefront board as follows;

• • the appointment of Mr Lindsay Stringer, Mr Robert Chambers and Mr Xavier Appleton as directors of Wavefront ("Proposed Board Appointees");
• • the removal from the Wavefront Board of the current directors comprising Mr Ian Tucker, Dr Shanny Dyer and Mr Scott Gamble ("Current Directors").

A general meeting of Shareholders of Wavefront is scheduled to be held on 20th September 2017 under section 249F of the Corporations Act.
The Proposed Board Appointees are eager to expand on the technology as it currently stands and look to engage with partners to assist with further development.
The Proposed Board Appointees would seek to utilise the services of experienced consultants, previously involved with the Wavefront technology, to be able to deliver on the Wavefront business plan.
Nemex will continue to monitor its investment in Wavefront and will provide an update as required.
Nemex continues to assess all opportunities, in both resource and non-resources related sectors with a view to seeking reinstatement to trading on ASX.
