The last thing you want to do is to get somebody booted out of a company and you employing him/her to go and negotiate for a deal from her previous employer. Pls give management some credibility.
Management probably appointed her to get intel secrets out of her. Either that is done with now or intel is objecting to her disclosing what she knows to XPED, hence the forced departure from XPED. All IMO
