hi Stefano, I still cant get my head around what happened. the way this was executed doesn't make sense if from a large SH unless he/she desperately needed the money. Why destroy so much of your own equity by doing a FIRESALE? would you not just do as you suggested, the Buffet way?
unless there is imminent catastrophic news which means you can't wait and need to be ahead of the market. And when I say catastrophic, I mean the likes of tech failure, law suit, fraudulent management. Even if you found out somehow the Intel Deal is not progressing well, you would still have time to dump it in a manner that would leave you way better off.
the way the price has been kept down is very deliberate and was done to spread panic and fear. Instos do not liquidate their holdings in this manner from my experience.
