My fav gold shares are big ozs, open pit. I dont care too much about the grade. As I think in the future the gold price will be very good - I am not talking silly. So if you have a lot of oz, even if low grade, it will be profitable in the future.
That said, I see a lot of reports (not CRK) of open pits just over the 1 gram per tonne. And when I look at CRK resources at with open pits at 1.4 and 1.6 and 1.8 grams per tonne, I thing 'wow, they are open pit, and have a lot (still to be provent) and the grades are pretty good'.
So, yes, I am thinking the profit will be very nice and steady.
Mind you, I have about 8 gold and silver miners I say that about. It seems all too easy. So I worry. But not too much.
