You raise an intereting point...from what had been communicated to the market, it seemed like a done deal except for FCPA due diligence by the farminee and Board approval. However, communicating a false information to the market, i.e. not stating what the real cause behind the decision not to proceed, carries considerable penalties. It may seem like we're re-enacting the sinking of the Titanic, but surely management of that calibre would have a back-up plan. What do people think of the comment about an alternate partner and seismic acquisition???
