My feeling would be it would take longer if there is a choice. A choice gives leverage in any negotiation. Choice means a possibility of tooing and froing going backwards and forwards. Think of the time difference between going to your base commissary and picking up (choosing?) your new uniform Vs. going into town and shopping for a new set of threads.
