I don't think you are telling anyone anything new. Perhaps you just didn't understand what YOU were being told?
Yes generally magnetite concentrates take less energy to produce steel than hematite or goethite DSO ores. But once you understand that you don't mine the magnetite concentrate straight out of the ground and put it on a ship, you'll grasp what those with the 'credible user nic' were trying to explain. It's also more complex than I care to elaborate on but, I think most would have researched enough to understand by now..
