But that is the issue - "No funding deal is going to get approved that is not sanctioned by the 3 amigos".

Surely they would have preferred their original deal in the rights issue? It was their chance to increase holdings at a lower price.

Then again, perhaps they ARE genuinely interested in securing more funding than the rights issue would have provided. They keep their current holdings and actually get to production??
