Does he mean that it didn't come from a solicitor? Or does he really expect us to believe that a Singapore/Chinese based investment fund was skimming through a list of ASX companies and thought "Gosh, CuDeco, sounds cute, I wonder of they'd need that odd $100m we've got sitting in our bank account? Let's make them an offer and see what happens!"

And why did it happen anyway? The Poms were supposed to have signed up last Monday, but the USCO came in "late last week". I don't think you need to worry about them upsetting the UK investors, I suspect they've pulled out of their own accord.
