Feeling better!!
Ok is this correct?
Is the lenze app fee payable monthly per active download?
Read the Ann a few times....
US$ 0.15 per active download:
"The Company has licensed its Auto Discovery Remote Control (“ADRC”) technologies to Lenze in return for a fee payable per active download of the Xped App."
US$ 0.15 per month per active download. 2 Million devices sold per month:
Month 1:
$0.15 x 2 Million active users= US$300,000
Month 2:
$0.15 x 4 million active users= US$600,000
Month 3:
$0.15 x 6 Million active users = US$900,000
Month 4:
$0.15 x 8 Million active users = US$1,200,000
Month 12 = 3.6 million?
Seems too much.
OR
Do they mean just per activated download as a 1 off payment? = US$ 300,000 per month? = ONLY US$3.6 million a year?
Also do not forget the Licence agreement with Telink:
Plus Licence fee from Telink Agreement:
"XPED to receive a licensing fee of 17.95% PER CHIPSET SOLD containing ADRC technology"
2 million x $?.?? Say $0.50 x 17.95% = $179,500 per month from Telink on this device.
So US$ 479,500 per month US$ 5,754,000 or AU$ 7,660,000 per year for this device.
Multiply that by say 3 devices =AU$ 17,262,000 per annum.
This is only 1 sales pipeline customer...
Multiply this by 5 customers..... = AU$86,310,000. (86 Million)
5 customers. What about 100 customers. Of course not all deals will have this potential.
A tier 1 lighting customer would be bigger, but most will be smaller.
This would not be much penetration of the market either.
if this becomes a standard, think a magnitude or 2 higher.
I think xpe should send at least 3 techs to finalize the first product for Lenze.
I thought looking at some potential which some looks like is now likely to be realised would be a good idea.
