Triin, I'm not sure your comments are correct.
As I understand it, the release on Friday was born about by ongoing board discussions and a little extra pressure from our man on the ground here in Australia.
Also, I know the 'after market' release has raised an eyebrow or two. No biggie IMO.
Because of timing, many of Wolf's announcements are released after the Australian market has closed.
As for no JV by the time the quarterly is released in 3 and a half weeks.....I'm not so sure.
In my opinion, if a capital raising was to be done, details would surely be known. After all, we now know the Mongolian Government has approved their drill campaign and budget, if the last couple of Company announcements are correct.
In addition, when I spoke to the Company there was no mention of a raising. When I asked whether we could go it alone, the response was that initially we probably could but that bigger funding would then be required. Now this is not to say that we are going to fund the first couple of wells ourselves necessarily, it's more the fact that a placement to sophisticated investors, seems to be off the cards.
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, if these next 3 weeks were to finalise the details of a JV arranged by SAM and communications to satisfy the Mongolian Government, have already begun.
