@Stuie1977 - It seems common because it's an ASX mandated timeline that Xped has to follow. Listing rule chapter 7 dictates the timeline.
When @RealRockerfeller complained that Xped had "unusually lengthy consolidation" time line - he once again either a) doesn't know what he's talking about - or b) he's spinning his usual bs, which is making things up to criticize xped, usually on topics of technical nature, in order to scare monger people.
Last day trading under old structure, business day 1: Wed 31 May
Deferred settlement trading begins - business day 2: Thur 1 June
Record Date - business day 3: Friday 2 June
First SH notice date - business day 4: Monday 5 June
Issue date - Deferred settlement period ends - business day 8: Friday 9 June
Normal T2 trading begins - business day 9: Tuesday 13 June (don't forget that the ASX is closed on Monday 12 June for the Queen's birthday)

In summary - it's not an unusually long consolidation period unlike old mate RealRock would like to have you believe - because there is no such thing as a "lengthy consolidation timeline". It's a consolidation timeline that exactly follows the timeline that is dictated by and mandated by the ASX.
